Hello all,

Leslie is someone that I’ve known since my children were very little over 20 years now.  Over the years we lost touch, but reconnected on Facebook in recent years. Leslie is the human equivalent of a dolphin. She’s smart, sweet, cute and one hell of a swimmer. She is an aquatics director at Hartford High School. Leslie has bailed me out at the last minute for volunteer events over the years when I needed a life guard or swim testing for youth to participate in camp activities. She has been a god send over the years and I appreciate her so much!! She has that can do positive attitude, that I love. She is my life guard and one of my boating instructors for Happy Trails Camp Events! Love her!!!

Anyhoo, instead of buying at the big box chain, help a sister out and buy something from her at the book release party. She hand crafts crocheted items that are super cute and made with love.

Here is her Bio:

Single mom of 3 sons, Derek Lucas and Andre.

SWIMMING Teacher and Athletics Assistant at Hartford Public H.S. and Happy Trails!

Loves the outdoors , crafting, and spending time with family, especially 2 year old granddaughter Arya! (pictured in teal dress and with Gramma Kitty)

What happens when an upbeat, sociable, single, empty nester in midlife, outdoor enthusiast, critter gal, science geek, history buff, treasure hunter with an addiction to brown signs and the wanderlust, embarks on a 4 month road trip in her Chevy pickup truck, loaded with a tent, kayak, bicycle, 5 changes of clothes, her laptop, and cell phone, by herself, that essentially turned into a fulltime lifestyle?
